In this opening scene there are many
indications to the genre, from watching it I found out that it is an action
comedy film. In this scene they show it in many ways such as: car chase scenes,
weapons and violence, fast music, funny humor and explosions these all
represent action and some represent humor.
In this opening there are many questions to
be asked such as: who are they trying to catch, why one of the main characters
are not allowed to help their partner, where they are or what are they doing
and their purpose.
From the opening we find out that there is
a group of detectives under cover trying to catch someone who appears to be a
drug dealer and when they catch their target it leads to a lot more secrets not
told but will be further into the film.
With the use of music there is a lot going
one such as : there is a very modern sound track in the back ground using rap
to make the film a lot more of a fast tempo but also gives the excitement vibe
to all the casing and all the violence.
In the scene a lot of effective shows are
used such as: there is a great use of extreme close ups of the police badge
showing that they are apart of the police service but get caught while
undercover, one other shot Is good is the medium shot of the man hanging out of
the car it makes me feel that we were in both apart of the chase as well as
being in the car.
